There hasn’t been much precipitation in the last week or so. This resulted in a creek by our house mostly drying up. This bottle was lodged in the creek-bed and was overcome with green and dirt. Most interesting was the number of small stones lodged inside the bottle. I imagine the stones were worked into the bottle from the flow of the water.

This photo makes me really sad because the bottle was carelessly discarded into the environment. This park is full of trash canisters. In fact, there's one less than twenty feet away from where this was shot. I really wish people were better stewards of the beautiful environment we’re blessed with. …spence
