Yesterday I sold my favorite lens so that I could upgrade to a Canon 50mm f1.4 USM lens. From the handful of photos I took with it today I'm in love. The 50 f1.4 is a little sharper than the 50 f1.8 and I don't know how I survived without the USM focusing.

In other news, interesting things are starting to surface from the melting piles of snow. S
