This old Bible was one of many found in my Grandmothers estate. It was apparently given by my Grandfather to his father-in-law sometime in the 1920's. Inside, the pages are crisp and dry. A section in the middle of the Bible recorded the family's "new" births. Most of those listed have since grown up, lived their lives and also passed away.

While the worn leather cover remains largely intact, the binding has long since dissolved into chunks of red powder. 3/5 ...spence
